He was the son of the late William and Harriet (MacDonald) Dutton and a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1943. He was a decorated Veteran who served in the US navy Amphibious Division in the South Pacific in World War II. He retired from Interstate Container Corp. of Lowell. He was a life member of the HE Fletcher Club of Westford and of the American Legion Post 313 of N. Chelmsford, and member of the VFW Post 667 of Lowell. (The Sun - Aug 5, 2007) [4]
