  George was a passenger rate clerk working for the Southern Railway. George passed away at his desk from a heart attack in Atlanta Georgia in 1937. He was the son of George Edwin Dutton, who passed away of a heart attack while sitting in a barber' chair in Boston, Massachusetts in 1903. George married Dorothy Catharine Rees in Washington, D.C., on January 15, 1919. They had one son, George Philip Dutton, Jr. who was born in Washington , D.C. on November 5,1919.
