  	BANCROFT, Iowa - A funeral Mass for Harold J. Menke, 75, of Bancroft, will be at St. John's Catholic Church in Bancroft. Burial with military honors conducted by the Bancroft American Legion will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Bancroft. Menke died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at his home. Oakcrest Funeral Services of Bancroft is assisting the family with the arrangements. Harold John Menke was born May 26, 1938, on the family farm northwest of Bancroft, Iowa, the son of Alfred and Amorita (Schiltz) Menke. Survivors include: his wife, Barb of Bancroft; sons, Mark Menke of Madison Lake, Minn., and Dean Menke of Algona, Iowa; daughters, Anita Osweiler of Pine Bluff, Ark., Eileen Elsbecker of Bancroft, and Erica Eikren of Ankeny, Iowa; eight grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters.
