    • Martin Alexander was born and christened in a town or Parish called Annemessix or Annemessec, in Somerset County, Maryland.

      His wife was named Susannah (Foster) Alexander.

      His will went to Probate Court and was proved on August 16, 1751.

      His grave was originally placed at the Bethel, M.E. Cemetery.

      In 1965, all of the graves at the Bethel M.E. Cemetery were moved to a new location called Bethel Cemetery, in order to be able to widen the Chesapeake Delaware Canal ship canal.
