  	Walter Palmer married (1) by about 1614, _____ _____. She died by 1633. They had five children: Grace MINOR, John, Elizabeth Sloan Chapman, William, & Jonah. Source: Robert C. Anderson's Great Migration Study Project. We know very little about Walter Palmer's first wife — not even her first and/or last name. While the now defunct Walter Palmer Society suggested his first wife's name was "Elizabeth Ann," there are absolutely no records existing which verify this. Even Anderson's Great Migration declines to suggest a name. It is known she was the mother of at least Walter's 2 oldest children, if not all 5 [Anderson] —all of whom were born in England. It is also known she died before 1633, when Walter married Rebecca Short. End of story. [2]
