  	Phebe was the daughter of Daniel Darte (Jr.) of Bolton and his wife, Jemimah Shailer Darte. She was married twice. With her husband Benjamin Howard she had nine children: John in 1743, Margaret in 1745, Jemima in 1749, Benjamin in 1750, Samuel in 1752, Nathaniel in 1754, Elisabeth in 1757, Elijah in 1761 and Phebe in 1764. Her other husband was Thomas Bishop. She lived in Bolton all her life. [2]
