  	FLOSSIE ROSE ASTORIA -- Mrs. Samuel J. (Flossie J.) Rose, 78, of Morton, formerly of Astoria died at 12:40 a.m. yesterday in the Fon Du Lac Nursing Manor in East Peoria. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Shawgo Memorial Home, the Rev Lloyd Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Mt Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be this afternoon and evening at the funeral home. She was born Jan 1, 1896 near Astoria, the daughter of William and Anna Engle Farwell. She married Samuel Rose July 5, 1913 in Lewiston. He died in January, 1969. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nina Howe of Lewistoen and Mrs. Meryle Briney of Ipava, three sons, Robert of Peoria, Max of Sacramento, Calif., and Stanley of Morton; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, three brothers, John Farwell of Summum, Darius Farwell of Havana and Robert Farwell of Peoria. One son four sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
