Patterson, Fort Smith AK.

Moved to VA 1770-72, lived there till 1785, moved to Tenn., to NC, to Alabama, latter move in 1820. Wife was sister of Samuel McGaughey {P.S. W-9981}. At Battle of King's Mt. in Neil's Co., but did not participate Battle (foot troops); at Whitsell's Mill; at Reedy Fork; at Guilford {P.S. #32515); 11 Sept 82 - for a horse 13 hands high 7 yrs old lost lost at King's Mt., paid 12 £ 18 s --Annals 1117.
