  	21 April 1929 (Detroit Free Press - Detroit, Michigan) Woman Hit by 2 Automobiles Dies Fowlerville, Mich. April 20 - Mrs Ellen Gott 80 years old, died at her home here early Saturday from injuries suffered Friday night when she was run over by an unidentified motorist while crossing Grand street in Fowlerville. Mrs. Gott stepped from the curb directly into the path of a car driven by Lyle Brogan, Howell high school boy, who was accompanied by Leo Sawyer, another Howell student. She was thrown to the pavement. The boys stopped, but before the aged woman could be picked up, another car driving rapidly ran over her, crushing her skull. An effort to stop the death car, said to contain two men and a woman, as they drove through Howell, was unsuccessful. They were headed toward Detroit. An inquest will be held by Coroner A. R. Crittenden. [8]
