  	Minnie E H Wallis Cutts - Findagrave.com Minnie Helen Cutts, 102, of Albany, Oregon, died on Monday, December 25, 2000 at Villa Cascade Care Center in Lebanon, OR. Funeral services were held at Fisher Funeral Home in Albany on Saturday, December 30, 2000, with Committal Service following at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. Cutts was born on January 17, 1898, in Marathon, Iowa, the daughter of George W. and Martha J. (Dutton) Wallis. She moved to South Dakota in December of 1905. On June 3, 1916, she married Arthur King Cutts in Mitchell, S. D. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1967. In 1935, she moved to Lebanon with her husband and eight children. She moved to Albany in 1942, to Winchester Bay in 1962 and again to Albany in 1971. Her life-long ambition was to be a missionary. It was not to be, so she served in other ways. She crocheted many afghans for family and friends, and more for Loaves and Fishers and accident and fire victims. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and FISH, and helped prepare many meals for Albany Loaves and Fishes. Even in her 90's she was a telephone contact for RSVP and Loaves and Fishes. She called shut-ins daily to verify that all was well. She also enjoyed needlework and painting. She was a member of the Albany United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, Harvey Cutts of Albany, Stanley Cutts of LaPine and Richard Cutts of Lebanon, along with 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur, sons Jerauld in 1944 and Earl in 1976; daughters Doris Coyle and Mary Snyder, both in 1996, and Laurel Cutts in 1998; brothers Earl Wallis and Kenneth Wallis, sisters Genevieve Dugger, Ethel Larson and Ruth Van Pelt; and grandchildren Arlene Dustman and Steven Dexter.
