  Dec 10 1919 Fulton Patriot Dutton—Died at her home in Ilion, Dec. 5th, Mrs. Betty M. Dutton, aged 68 years. Surviving her are five sons, Ralph of Ilion, Bruce A., Orson V., Grove H. and Cortan E. Dutton, all of Montana; three daughters, Mrs. C. E. Yardley of this city, and Mrs. John Fitch and Miss Ruth S. Dutton, both of Montana, and one brother, Allen W. Austin of Jersey City. The remains were brought to this city Saturday and taken to the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. C M. Strickland, 358 South Sixth street, where funeral services were held Monday interment at Mt. Adnah. Mrs. Dutton was the widow of Grove H. Dutton, formerly of Granby. She was born in Volney and for over 40 years had resided in Granby. She was an active member of Columbia Circle, Ladies of the G. A. R., and was prominent in the Presbyterian church and only last year visited this city and attended the services in that church, when a service flag in honor of the members in the military service was unfurled. At t that time she had the distinction of pinning three stars on the flag for her sons in war. [2]
