Mrs. Ball died Tuesday night at her home in the exclusive Brentwood area of West Los Angeles. She had had been in ill health for a number of years, the spokesman said. Called DeDe by her daughter and friends, Mrs. Ball was active in show business herself at one time, starring as a concert pianist in Jamestown, N.Y. ------------- She was formerly buried here. ?She was the mother of Lucille Ball.
