  	Doris Jean O'Rear, 83, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at her residence in Boldo. Doris married her high school sweetheart on July 19, 1952, and they stayed sweethearts for 66 years. They moved to Indiana, where they lived for more than 40 years. There, she worked as a cook at Merrillville High School for over 25 years. After retiring, Wayne and Doris returned to Alabama, where they have lived for 18 years. She loved having people in her home, and the O'Rear "bed and breakfast" was always open. Having her grandchildren come and spend a week or two was a joy, both for her and them. She loved her family and made friends feel like family too. O'Rear was preceded in death by her parents, Erskin and Flora Brown; in-laws, Ebb and Nancy O'Rear; and one brother, Jerry. [1]
