  	Norma S. Billings, 90, of Elm Street, died Monday at the Varney Crossing Nursing Center. She was born in Lynchburg, Va., a daughter of Archibald and Jessie Foster Slack. In the 1920s, she traveled all over the United States with an all-girl group called Trumpeteers. She also did clerical work for the Christian Science Monitor in Boston. She married Fred O. Billings and resided in Wayland, Mass., until moving to North Berwick, Maine, in 1982. She was very active in the North Berwick Congregational Church and a member of the Plus Ultra Class for many years. Her husband of 52 years, Fred O. Billings, died in 1982. Surviving are two nephews, Donald and Lisle Eaton, both of North Berwick, and two nieces, Jane Eldridge of North Berwick and Jean E. Van Hof of Portsmouth, R.I. Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market St., North Berwick. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial in Ocean View Cemetery, Wells.
