    • The first name on this marker is difficult to read but appears to be--Amos. This marker is shared with Augustus B. Dutton, his wife, Mary J. Sanderson Dutton, and their daughter Emma Dutton who died at age 21.

The problem is that the family did not have a son by the name of Amos. The name of their son who was born in about 1855 was Henry Waldo Dutton. Some researchers do state that Henry Waldo was the one who died 7 Jan 1867, at the age of 12.

Henry W. Dutton was recorded with his family in 1860, but was not recorded with his family in the 1870 Census when he would have been about age 15. [2]
