- Wife Of HORACE BAMSEY
Died at Algona, Iowa
Susan Jeanette Brass, eldest daughter of the late Joseph Brass and the present Mrs. Alice Duryea of Clear Lake. She was born near Irvington on November 22, 1892, and was in her 32nd year at the time of her death. In April 1911, she was married at Algona to Horace Bamsey. The deceased is survived by her devoted husband, one daughter, Leona, six years old, and preceeded in death by two sons having died in infancy.
The deceased has been a member of the Congregational church since early girlhood and was a faithful and consistent Christian. She will be greatly missed in the home and by many friends.
Among relatives and friends from out of town attending the funeral were Mrs. Duryea of Clear Lake, mother of the deceased, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Campbell of Seneca, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Nelson of Fort Dodge, sisters of Susan Bamsey. Two other sisters, Mrs. Elmer Dye of Mason City, Mrs. Blanche Jenkins of Clear Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bamsey, Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Karnis, Misses Beulah, Frances and Katie Bamsey, Ethel Owen, Miss Mary Knowles, Arthur Bamsey, Mrs. L. S. Waite, C. E. Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Greene, LuVerne and Wilson Greene, of Bancroft, James L. Greene, of Buffalo Center, Edith and Evelyn Greene of Minnesota.
