    • Son of John Gamble Jones & Dena Bailey.
      Robert Bruce Jones was born on August 30, 1904. He went to Walker High School, now Jasper High School in Jasper Alabama.
      Buck went to college at Alabama and than got picked by the Green Bay Packers.
      Buck played for the Green Bay Packers 1927-1928, Newark Tornadoes 1930 and Brooklyn Dodgers 1932-1934, as a guard.
      Robert served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army.
      Robert died on December 18, 1974 in Evergreen, Alabama. [1]
